a long unsubmitted work
i had this printed and framed (sorta) as a gift for my best friend who had her debut last saturday
happy bday tin! i luv yah!
i was just bored one day and i asked her wat's something nice to draw then i realized why not make it into a drawing for her?? so there.. i really had a plan to make an artwork for her anyway.. but i still want to give her the thing i really intended to give her in the first place... but i lost time and resources and things came up.. so maybe xmas!!!
basically it's serenity coz she's been thinking a lot, worrying a lot and stuff.. so this was part of my wish for her
i really felt disappointed how things turned out. things weren't working well... esp coz of school and stuff. so this didn't come out the way i really wanted it to (that means the whole gift not just the pic) daming malas na nangyari from printing to framing.. waaah. nkkasar.. i wanted it all perfect.. i even lost time to make her a lengthy letter and a good speech... i'm such a crappy friend...
(ok this is becoming a journal entry.. why don't i just put the whole story there.. haha)
i'm sorry i forgot to credit the one who made the brushes i used for the clouds.. (i'll find out who it is then post it here.)

Across the globe, 27 million men, women, and children live in some form of slavery. That is more people at this moment than in all the centuries of the Atlantic Slave Trade. Something must be done. This contest serves two purposes: Raising awareness about human trafficking and raising funds for the Not For Sale organization.
Open to all mediums. Deadline is March 10, 2010 @ 11:59pm PST.
